After production ended on the long-running Little House on the Prairie series, three made-for-TV movies helped wrap up the series.
LOOK BACK TO YESTERDAY The first of the TV movie sequels depicts Albert's heroic battle with an ultimately fatal illness. Albert suffers from unexplained nosebleeds and is always tired. A physician informs Charles the symptoms point to a deadly form of leukemia, and that Albert has a short time to live. Albert wishes to live out what may be his final days in Walnut Grove; while there, he falls in love with childhood friend Michelle and spends many of his hours with his beloved sister, Laura. Meanwhile, Walnut Grove has fallen on hard times because of a dispute between the farmers and the railroad. Charles helps to put an end to the dispute.
BLESS ALL THE DEAR CHILDREN In the second sequel of the popular TV series, Laura and Almanzo are forced to go looking for Rose who was kidnaped. A young orphan looking for a home and Jason Carter's wish to give his mother a happy Christmas are also parts of the story.
THE FINAL FAREWELL Final chapter of the Little House saga. It is now the year 1901, and the citizens of Walnut Grove learn that land swindlers are about to take over the town. Not being able to fight it, Hero Township decides that while the swindlers can have the land, they can't have what is on it. The citizens blow up the town, which leads to an emotional filled finale.
