Being single in mid-life is a bit like being a garage sale item: people assume there must be something wrong with it, or it wouldn't be available!

And so begins comedian Nick Arnette's exploration of the world. He talks about being a bachelor, his past experience as a substitute teacher, and expiration dates on food. His performance ends with his signature "Dude!" routine.

Based on everyday life, Nick is proud of the fact that his comedy is suitable for (and enjoyed by) the whole family. He calls himself "just a regular guy who likes to laugh about life's little bumps in the road."

Arnette was a major contributor to a pair of popular joke books, Comedy Comes Clean and Comedy Comes Clean II; he is best known for the ever-popular Book of Dude.
