Packed like sardines in their stylin' 1978 convertible "Joyota," a group of young friends embark on the trip of a lifetime.
At the wheel sits Brian who just wants to get away but he can’t escape the past. Behind him sits Cory, sarcastic and mischievous. Matt rides shotgun, armed with a smile and an appetite for the abnormal. Finally there's Will, Brian's younger brother. Ever sane and ever sensible, he keeps the trip going and keeps everybody else in line.
With their trip barely underway, the friends pick up Jessie, the most adventurous (and most attractive) pre-law student they have ever met. Her snowboarding skills are matched only by her strong will.
Their journey takes them to the waves, the mountains, the dunes, the hills and the streets – all while pushing their love of sports to the extreme. They encounter calamity, conflict, the hilarious, and the absurd. And along the way, they discover more about themselves than they ever knew before.
This is a high energy film that is mostly good, clean fun. It also includes a kickin' soundtrack, featuring the likes of P.O.D., The Newsboys, Toby Mac, Bleach, Audio Adreneline, PAX 217, and more.
