The letter of Philippians was written by Paul while he was in prison in Rome in about AD 63, but there is no bitterness or disillusionment here. In this letter, Paul opens his heart to us, showing us the secret to real contentment. The letter speaks of fellowship in the sufferings of Jesus, and yet there is no book of the Bible so full of joy.
The six programs cover the four chapters of Philippians as follows:
- This is my prayer (ch. 1:1-11)
- Live as a citizen worthy of the gospel of Christ (ch. 1:12-30)
- Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus (ch. 2:1-11)
- Shine like stars in the universe (ch. 2:12-30)
- The power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings (ch. 3:1-21)
- Rejoice in the Lord, always (ch. 4:1-23)
Each segment is approximately 15 minutes.
